We are an organization based in Kansas City, Missouri, through the use of honest documentation, rational reasoning, and research, we interpret the world of unexplained phenomenon.

We travel throughout Missouri and Kansas performing investigations, for both business and residential research. Under special arrangements and circumstances, we travel to other states. There is absolutely no charge for KCPI to perform an investigation. Our group has been formed to collect data found from cases to help our clients to our fullest capabilities and to gather an understanding of the mysterious natures of the unexplained.

As we examine the possibilities of existence beyond our world, we enjoy sharing our evidence and knowledge through educational lectures and our official web sites.

Meet Carlina

I was born in London, England and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in the paranormal. I had my first paranormal experience when I was 13 and my goals for KCPI are to learn more about the unknown and to help people along the way.

Paranormal studies and experiences have always captivated me. Even at an early age, I was fascinated by the mysteries surrounding ghost, spirits, UFOs and of course, Bigfoot. I can't say that many experiences have happened to me personally, but the fascination continued to grow with age. Living in Kansas City, I have heard of old ghost stories of musicians and artists that still haunt the building. To this day I try to learn a little bit each and every week about the "other world," making my knowledge a vast encyclopedia to draw from. This is my first time in such a group, and frankly, it was a long time coming! Research of the unknown has always been a peak interest of mine. If it's unknown, I wanna know it! Correctly working in the medical field, I have been able to broaden my views on the human psych, helping me understand that there can be more normal to the paranormal than people think. I don't like to consider myself a skeptic, more of an open minded realist. However, if a true entity or unknown "thing" is truly confirmed, you will see me in the front of the line. Meet Dayna

From an early age, things of an unexplained nature have always piqued my interest. Listening to others recounting their stories of paranormal experiences would always captivate my curiousity. Hearing stories from others, as well as having my own personal experiences, tells me it's not a subject to be disregarded.
I am also currently delving myself into occult studies. I have a strong interest in demonology, energies, the metaphysics, and expanding my intuition. I hope to use Kansas City Paranormal Investigations as a tool of personal therapy. It is in my hopes that other team members can find their icing on the cake and find their personal validations that there is more than what meets some eyes.

Meet Mellanie

I have been interested in the paranormal ever since my first experience with a spirit at the age of 4. I have had many encounters with things that some can not explain, I believe them to be paranormal. The first time I encountered any type paranormal activity, I was living in an area of Independence that was well known for people seeing "odd" things. My parents rented a small duplex were I shared a room in the basement with my sister. I can remember waking up in the early hours of the morning, to a hazy figure of a man walking up the stairs, needless to say, I was terrified.
Ever since that day, I have had many "odd" things happen to me, and I have seen many things that most people would not be able to explain. I have researched spirits and other paranormal activity, to further my knowledge of what I have encountered. While doing my research I have found many paranormal investigation teams, but I did not find a home with one until I found K.C.P.I.. I am extremely interested in helping others understand, and cope with what they have experienced dealing with the paranormal.
Knowing what you have encountered is just the first step to understanding it.

Meet Robin

I grew up in rural Kansas City and am glad to be back after living away for almost 15 years. This city has such an amazing history and culture.
I have been encountering the paranormal as long as I can remember, having had numerous experiences that are beyond belief but most definitely real. Over the last few years I have focused on learning more about these experiences, rather than fearing them, and now enjoy seeking out the paranormal to help find answers for myself and others. My hope is that, by sharing my stories and listening to what others have felt,seen and heard, I can help lead them down the path to understanding what is happening and why.
